Pipe Insulation
Pipe insulation is applied to process lines to control heat transfer and protect the system during operation. It reduces heat loss in hot services, prevents heat gain or freezing in cold and cryogenic lines, and limits surface temperatures to improve personnel safety.
DSM Global installs pipe insulation systems using mineral wool, glass wool, polyurethane foam, foam glass, and aerogel materials, selected according to operating temperature, fire requirements, and environmental exposure.
Jacketing Systems
Jacketing systems are protective outer coverings installed over insulation on pipes, tanks, and vessels. Their role is to shield insulation from weather, UV exposure, and mechanical damage, while limiting moisture ingress and reducing the risk of corrosion under insulation.
DSM Global installs aluminum, stainless steel, and technical plastic jacketing, selected according to environment, temperature, and exposure conditions.

Lagging
Tank and vessel lagging is the insulation of storage tanks, pressure vessels, and similar equipment to control heat transfer and protect operating conditions.
DSM Global installs shaped insulation systems using rock wool, calcium silicate, mineral wool, and foam glass, finished with durable metal cladding for weather and mechanical protection.
Installation is supported by in house scaffolding and detailed to limit moisture ingress and corrosion under insulation.
